The French state may sell shares and thus reduce its ownership in the Franco-Dutch airline giant Air France-KLM and the mobile operator Orange.

This is reported by Les Echos, citing sources.

The state wants to retain ownership in what is considered systemically important or which constitute strategically important assets. These could be defence, nuclear power or large service organisations or companies that constitute a pure systemic risk, according to the source. Companies outside these areas may be sold.
