Britain is introducing quarantine requirements for entry from Sweden and Germany, reports Sky News, among others.
Britain is introducing new restrictions for Swedes traveling to the country. From 4 a.m. Saturday morning, all Swedes traveling to the UK must self-quarantine for two weeks, British Infrastructure Minister Grant Shapps wrote on Twitter.
The new restrictions also apply to Germany and are part of what the British call "Travel corridors", where certain countries are exempt from the quarantine rule.
”Travel corridors continue to be a very important part of the government's response to Covid-19 to keep down the number of imported cases,” Shapps writes.
