Canopy by Hilton in the Seychelles is the latest addition to the hotel chain's brand for travelers with high demands on their accommodation during vacation.
Located in southern Mahé, Canopy by Hilton Seychelles seamlessly blends local style with modern charm to provide an idyllic retreat for families and adventure seekers alike. A short drive from the Jardin du Roi (spice garden) and Anse à la Mouche beach, known for its shallow and calm seas, the 120-room resort draws inspiration from its surroundings to offer an authentic guest experience. The stylishly designed rooms skillfully blend local culture and a tranquil spa with world-class food and beverage.

Three restaurants offer guests a varied experience. Avocet serves sumptuous breakfast as well as French and Creole à la carte fusions for lunch and dinner. Sega Bar is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a swim overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Palem opening later this year, is an Asian-inspired restaurant that will offer guests a sea-inspired dining experience, full of flavors from Indonesia, Thailand and China and featuring locally crafted cocktails.
- “We are excited to continue to grow our portfolio in the Indian Ocean. With the opening of Canopy by Hilton Seychelles, we can offer more incredible destinations for our guests,” said Guy Hutchinson, President, Middle East and Africa, Hilton. The resort is part of five Hilton-branded properties in the Seychelles, including the recently opened Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island, and promises guests a memorable stay that integrates renowned Hilton hospitality with the local charm of Mahé.
Surrounded by natural mangrove forests, the spa is also designed around the elements of nature. Guests can work out at the resort's modern fitness center, take a dip in one of three pools, enjoy water sports activities on the beach, or relax in the transfer lounge after check-out.
For younger guests, the Bounty Seekers Kids and Teens Club offers a supervised adventure playground that sparks the curiosity of children and teens. The club offers creative crafts, exciting games and exploratory outdoor activities including campfires and jam sessions.
As part of the resort’s engagement with the local community, the property team helps support the natural environment – by rejuvenating the mangrove forests and Mahé coastline – as well as promoting energy efficiency and sustainability in the resort’s operations.
According to the press release.
- “We are proud to open the world’s first Canopy by Hilton resort in the Seychelles as we continue to expand the brand’s presence in leisure and resort destinations,” said Jenna Hackett, Brand Manager, Canopy by Hilton. Part of a global portfolio of 40 properties, Canopy by Hilton Seychelles offers guests a slice of paradise.
