Necessity has no law, they say. But SJ is now forced to pay 390,000 kronor because toilets and showers on the night train between Stockholm and Duved did not work, on a total of 78 occasions, during the second quarter of this year, writes SVT Nyheter Jämtland.
Each opportunity costs 5,000, according to a decision from the Swedish Transport Administration.
SJ will also pay 30,000 kronor for ventilation deficiencies and 87,000 for delayed trains. Last year, SJ had to pay 600,000 kronor for deficiencies on the route. (TT)
