Jönköping will once again have a flight connection to Stockholm

It is the airline Air LEAP, which flew the route between Jönköping and Stockholm-Arlanda last fall, which will resume traffic from August 26th.

Last winter, Air LEAP chose to cease service between Jönköping and Stockholm-Arlanda due to the tough competition with the airline BRA. This spring, however, BRA, which had flown between Jönköping and Stockholm-Bromma, announced that they would also discontinue their route. The last departure was the day before Midsummer Eve. The airline has had difficulty achieving profitability on the route, but Air LEAP still sees an opportunity in the Jönköping region and has now chosen to return.

Air LEAP will fly with a Saab 340 with space for 32 passengers. There will be a total of 15 departures per week in each direction. Three departures Monday-Thursday, two departures Fridays and one departure Sundays. Rony Forsberg, CEO of Jönköping Airport, sees the fact that it will now be Arlanda instead of Bromma as positive.
