After 15 years as CEO of Hummingbird Meetings & Events, Ulf Hansen is handing over the baton to Karin Bohlin Sauce. 

Since its inception in 2007, Hummingbird has developed into one of Sweden's leading and largest organizers of conference travel and events. One of the recipes for success has been responsiveness and the ability to realize customer wishes, to build relationships, inspire, strengthen brands and increase employee loyalty. In 2022, the business will have a turnover of just over 100 million and has a broad team with several disciplines. This means that Hummingbird can handle everything from slightly smaller assignments to larger events with several thousand participants. 

Karin Bohlin Sauce has been with the company since 2016 and for the past few years as COO. When asked how it feels to step into the CEO role of Hummingbird Meetings & Events, she says, ”Incredibly fun and motivating! Although we have made fantastic progress, there is still so much to do. We have a good plan and I am very much looking forward to implementing it together with my competent and wonderful team.”. 

Ulf Hansen remains as Chairman of the Board and principal owner through Intoit Travel Group where he continues as CEO of the group.
