Right now, Ving's popular mascots Lollo & Bernie are traveling around the country for two months to delight children at Quality hotels. Almost half of the chain's 60 hotels will receive visitors and a packed program with shows, singalongs, Mini Disco and many other activities awaits at each hotel. "Lollo & Bernie on tour" is a collaboration between Nordic Choice Hotels and Ving that is now in its third year.
– We see a great demand for holiday opportunities at our hotels and it feels extra fun to be able to offer activities with Lollo & Bernie, something that most children have only experienced in hotels abroad. Children often appreciate the little things like spending time and having fun together with parents and siblings, regardless of where they spend their holiday. That is also exactly what we want to achieve at our hotels, that our guests will have valuable and fun time together, says Quality Hotel Sweden's Operations Director Susanna Ståhl.
Lollo & Bernie will visit cities from Malmö in the south to Luleå in the north and the ambition is to meet as many children as possible. At the hotels, they start with a mingle and welcome drink together with Lollo & Bernie and then have a fast-paced day with various activities before saying goodbye when the guests check out. Families choose for themselves whether they want to be part of the entire program or selected parts.
– Our entire staff is passionate about this. Not only do we get to meet a lot of lovely guests, we also get to help create an experience-rich and memorable stay. Lollo & Bernie with their activities team are also real professionals. Above all, they are skilled at getting the children involved in the various activities, whether it's singing, dancing or mischievous antics. In addition, the activities are developed for each tour. This year, for example, there are more shows and entertainment, which has proven to be very appreciated by both young and old, says Emma Holmgren, hotel manager at Quality Hotel Friends in Stockholm.
The tour began in Gothenburg at the Quality Hotel Waterfront at the end of June and ends at the Quality Hotel Arlanda XPO on August 21. In addition, they will be available throughout the summer and school holidays at the Quality Hotel Friends in Stockholm and the Quality Hotel View in Malmö and the Quality Hotel The Weaver in the Gothenburg area.
