Long train stop in Ångermanland

A catenary fault between Kramfors and Örnsköldsvik led to major disruptions in train traffic on Sunday.

A night train from Narvik to Stockholm was delayed for nine hours and a train from Kramfors to Stockholm for seven hours, before the Swedish Transport Administration had fixed the error by lunchtime, according to Pernilla Johansson at SJ's press office.

A passenger on the night train tells of flooded and closed toilets.
– There are only two staff members on board. But no shadow over them, they do a great job, says the passenger who wishes to remain anonymous.
