An extensive signal fault means that no trains can pass through Katrineholm, the Swedish Transport Administration announces.
It affects long-distance and regional trains to and from Stockholm and Gothenburg, Oslo, Norrköping, Karlstad, Malmö and Copenhagen. It is unclear when the error will be fixed.
”"The repairman has been on site for just over an hour. There is no forecast yet," says Ulrika Westerberg at the Swedish Transport Administration's press service.
Some trains are being rerouted via Nyköping.
For information about replacement services and departures, passengers are advised to contact the respective train operator.
