Mallorca airport closed after torrential rain

The airport in Palma on the holiday island of Mallorca temporarily closed on Tuesday.

This is due to heavy rains that caused flooding.

The airport was able to reopen after a short time, reports Majorca Daily bulletin.

The storm has led to chaos inside the airport with water on conveyor belts, long queues for baggage claim and taxis.
