She takes over from Torbjörn Wallin, who returns to his job as acting chairman of the company.

Idre Himmelfjäll has quickly established itself as a favorite resort for many families with children and is the first major investment in a new ski resort in the Swedish mountains in over 30 years. Ahead of the winter season, the resort has 4,200 beds, 23 slopes, 9 lifts, a restaurant, reception, convenience store, ski shed, ski school, Sami activities, snowmobile rental, dog sledding and cross-country ski trails. A new lift will be built for the winter that leads up to the Polaris cabin area, a new electric lighted trail that leads to the Torslift and a fun park for the little ones.
Idre Himmelfjäll is now continuing to plan and project for continued expansion in order to realize Vision 2036 for Idre Himmelfjäll in the longer term with approximately 16,000 beds, hotels, retail, around 50 slopes, more restaurants and activities both in summer and winter. The work is currently being slowed down by the Dalarna County Administrative Board and Älvdalen Municipality while waiting for the municipality to resolve the water supply issue in Idre in a long-term manner.
There is already a large Cressida area in Idre Himmelfjäll with approximately 170 plots for sale, with everything from smaller holiday home plots to apartment building plots and also plots for large semi-detached houses with extensive building rights, where viewings are held regularly.
Mari Tara has extensive experience in the industry, but she is new to Idre Himmelfjäll.
– There are a lot of new faces here for me to get to know, then I need to learn how to find my way around all the new houses and roads. I look forward to continuing on the path I have chosen together with all my colleagues and in collaboration with Idre and in harmony with nature, says Mari Tara.
