– We Swedes tend to want to enjoy our summer holidays in southern Europe where we can get sun and warmth. But if you choose Europe this summer, you will have a clearly more expensive experience than in many years. There are only four countries in the world that Swedes can travel to where they feel it has become cheaper, that is, where Swedes' purchasing power has increased. Countries where it is cheaper to vacation this year with Swedish kronor in your pocket are - Lebanon, Chile, Japan and the Czech Republic.

– These may not be the countries that are at the top of Swedes' top lists of where they plan to spend their summer weeks. But I can say that, for example, Japan, which has been very expensive to vacation in, actually now looks significantly more affordable, says Jennie Sandén.
