Just under 640,000 passengers flew with Norwegian in January. This is a large increase compared to the previous year, but still a number that was marked by closures due to the omicron virus.
In January 2021, by comparison, 74,224 passengers flew with the Norwegian low-cost airline.

We are ready to welcome those who want to get out and travel. We will increase the supply in line with increased demand," says Geir Karlsen, CEO of Norwegian NAS in a comment.
Capacity in January was 1,298 million seat kilometers, while actual passenger traffic (RPK) was 905 million seat kilometers. Norwegian had an average of 45 aircraft in operation and 99.2 percent of scheduled flights were operated during the low-season month. The cabin factor was 70 percent. Punctuality was 85.9 percent.
The stock is trading down 2.3 percent on Friday morning, but is up just over 17 percent since the turn of the year.
