For the seventh year in a row, MTR is participating in Järvaveckan – a forum focusing on integration and democratic issues. During Järvaveckan, MTR will be recruiting on-site for approximately 100 positions and participating in discussions on topics including safety and the importance of increased integration in the labour market.
Since Järvaveckan 2018, MTR has conducted on-the-spot rapid interviews and recruited nearly 200 new colleagues as a result of its recruitment efforts, with around 40 new employees last year. These positions include roles such as underground train drivers, customer service hosts, train technicians, station hosts, and cleaning staff.
– As a major employer, we have both the responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to a labour market that is more accessible and thus a more inclusive society. We share Järvaveckan's conviction that participation and commitment are required to achieve increased inclusion. Therefore, it is natural for us to participate again this year – for the seventh year in a row, says Caroline Åstrand, CEO of MTR in Sweden.
