She will take up the position on February 15. Maria Holmgren has been Deputy Traffic Director at Skånetrafiken since 2014. In her new assignment as CEO of Öresundståg AB – whose shareholders are Region Skåne, Blekinge, Kronoberg, Västra Götaland, Halland and Kalmar counties – she will lead the development work together with the company board.

– We have an exciting and intensive period ahead of us with major investments in both upgrading the trains, developing traffic in southern Sweden and investments in maintenance and a brand new depot in Hässleholm.
