Next year, the charter operator will offer flights from Karlstad to Tunisia (Monastir). There will be two departures in June and July, with the possibility of adding more departures in the autumn. The flights to Tunisia will be operated by Tunisian airline Nouvelair and its Airbus 320, which can accommodate 180 passengers.

– Tunisia is my personal favorite travel destination and in my eyes, there is no other word to describe it than MAGICAL. Specifically, Tunisia has been in huge demand in Karlstad and the surrounding areas. This, combined with the fact that many Swedes of Tunisian origin actually live in the region, made the choice easy., says Mattias Hallén, Sweden Manager at Detur.

– A new charter destination from Karlstad is really good news and a wonderful Christmas present for all Värmlanders who want to avoid long car journeys and be able to travel directly from their own airport. Tunisia is an exciting and slightly different destination that we haven't had in many years. We hope that Värmlanders book these two departures so that Detur will add more departures with us in the future, says Åsa Jernfält, communications manager at Karlstad Airport.

Flights depart on Wednesdays; June 25 and July 2.

According to the press release.
