On June 25, the outdoor destination Isaberg opened its latest addition, a disc golf park. The disc golf park has a total of 12 holes with beautiful views and includes a lift to the top.

Isaberg Mountain Resort is a sports and leisure facility in Småland with year-round operations that is run jointly by various actors in the area around the mountain. In winter, the main attraction is southern Sweden's largest ski resort, with up to 150,000 guest visits. In summer, the facility offers a wealth of sports and adventure activities for an active leisure time. Among the activities are a high-altitude course, obstacle course, toboggan run, adventure golf, playgrounds and now also a disc golf course.

– Isaberg's disc golf course will be completely unique because it challenges with both uphill and downhill throws on the ski slopes. Of course, the lift is also a fun and unique feature of the course, which is designed by Camilla Jernberg. The course is varied, fun and of course the view from the top is impressive, says project manager Kasper Ignell.

Disc golf is a social, enjoyable and healthy sport. It is suitable for most people who like to walk in the woods and fields. Either the player brings their own disc or you can rent or buy discs on site.

– Isaberg strives to constantly develop its year-round operations. This year, the new features include a large asphalt pump track, a new ice cream kiosk, an outdoor gym and now also a 12-hole disc golf course. Isaberg should be a place where the whole family enjoys themselves, is active and has fun together, says Louise Söderlund, CEO of Isaberg Mountain Resort.

In total, Isaberg has over 350,000 visitors per year. The business has a turnover of over 100 million and employs 38 permanent employees and 140 seasonal workers. A large part of the summer visitors are foreign tourists and in winter around half are Danish skiers.
