This weekend, Nordic Choice Hotel held its annual winter conference in Stockholm, also known as VK. An occasion where over 3,000 employees meet from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland to recognize hotels and employees for their outstanding efforts during the previous year.

For three years in a row, Clarion Hotel Grand Östersund has been nominated for Clarion Hotel Of The Year and this time they won the well-deserved award.

– What a year 2022 has been! The year began when we were still in the middle of a pandemic and then we have seen the world situation change enormously during the year. We have all been affected and tried to help in different ways. When it started to brighten up for the hospitality industry in the spring, it did so with a bang and we ended the year 2022 in an absolutely fantastic way. We at Clarion Östersund are a well-knit team with great experience and expertise in always doing the best possible. We have fun together, we are brave and we like to do things a little differently. Winning Clarion Hotel of The Year is proof that our hotel is something very special. We will continue in the same spirit in 2023 and who knows what will happen with us during the year. Stay tuned!
