The Norwegian airline Norwegian will continue to fly directly from Stockholm Skavsta Airport to Alicante and Malaga in Spain during the summer of 2024. In addition, traffic to Alicante will be increased to three times a week from this summer's two.
We are extremely happy that Norwegian is staying with us and also expanding traffic. It feels great to be able to continue to offer these popular destinations to our travelers. Both Malaga and Alicante have had good occupancy and there is still strong demand, says Jesper Fredmark, CEO of Stockholm Skavsta Airport.
The continued collaboration with Norwegian is an important step in the long-term plan to put the airport on the national and international airport map.
– We are grateful for the great reception we have received regarding demand for our flights to both Malaga and Alicante and are pleased to be able to return to Stockholm Skavsta Airport next summer with more departures. We look forward to continuing to welcome travelers on board to and from Skavsta, says Magnus Maursund, Chief Commercial Officer at Norwegian.
