In both Hemsedal and Trysil, this season offers upgraded lifts and several new features that create good conditions for a fantastic ski season.
In Trysil, the slopes will be secretly opening during the weekend of December 2-4, and then fully opening for the season in connection with Trysil's ski test weekend on December 9-11.
– There is a lot to look forward to this winter. Trysil is Norway's largest ski resort and the facility is continuously being developed here to ensure fantastic conditions for skiing in a sustainable way. We have a wonderful winter season ahead of us, with even better conditions than last year, says Gudrun Sanaker Lohne, destination manager in Trysil for SkiStar.
The ski test weekend that was planned for December 2-4 in Hemsedal is therefore cancelled. Updated information about possible new dates will be available shortly, informs Andreas Smith-Erichsen.
– We are very much looking forward to opening this winter season. Despite the mild autumn, we have had enough cold for the snow cannons to work at full capacity and today it is snowing.
