The rescue services have been alerted to a fire on an Arlanda Express train between Arlanda and Upplands Väsby.

Smoke has developed in a carriage on the train, but the cause is unclear. No one is reported to have been injured.

”An evacuation is currently underway of this train, which had some kind of smoke development on board. But it should only take a few more minutes,” said Sara Lindström, press communications officer at Trafikverket, at 9 PM.

The train is on a siding and therefore does not significantly affect other traffic.

”I think it’s out along the route, something closer to Arlanda,” says Sara Lindström.

However, some delays may occur on the route between Arlanda and Upplands Väsby, according to the Swedish Transport Administration.
