Edinburgh, Milan and Zagreb top Ryanair's list of the most popular destinations among Swedish travelers in the summer of 2026. At the same time, the airline urges anyone who still has a vacation left to take the opportunity to book a late summer trip.
Ryanair has presented its top three destinations from Sweden for the summer. All can be reached directly from Gothenburg, while Zagreb is also served from Malmö.
1. Edinburgh
Scotland's capital tops the list. Edinburgh attracts with a combination of history, culture and nature. Classic attractions include the old town, Edinburgh Castle and Arthur's Seat, which offers views of the city.

2. Milan
In second place is Milan, where travelers can combine Italian food and culture with shopping, architecture and art. The Duomo, the city's famous cathedral, is among the top attractions.

3. Zagreb
The Croatian capital takes third place. Ryanair highlights Zagreb's historic city centre, architecture, café culture and local cuisine, as well as the opportunities to use the city as a base for excursions in Croatia.
Zagreb is served by both Gothenburg and Malmö.
Over 80 routes from Sweden
According to the company, Ryanair offers over 80 routes from Sweden in its summer program 2026. The airline still sees opportunities for Swedes to take one last trip before the summer season is over.
