Budget airline giant Ryanair will soon allow 20 percent larger free hand luggage on its flights, according to Sky News.
This concerns the hand luggage that must be placed under the passengers' seats.
The announcement from Ryanair comes after a proposal from the EU for new hand luggage rules for the airline industry, according to Sky News.
The old permitted size is now 40x25x20 centimeters. From now on, 40x30x20 centimeters will be permitted.
According to Sky News, it is a 24-liter bag instead of 20 liters.
