SAS and Apollo strengthen their strategic partnership and sign a new three-year agreement worth SEK 4.5 billion. The agreement means that SAS will remain the main partner for Apollo's charter flights from Scandinavia from the summer of 2025 until the summer of 2027.
In the spring of 2021, SAS and Apollo entered into a then-record charter operations agreement that extended until 2024. Now, a new agreement has been signed where SAS will fly Apollo's customers to and from 15 locations in Sweden, Denmark and Norway to 24 destinations around Europe. Apollo remains SAS's largest charter partner.
Another big news is that SAS and Apollo will introduce direct flights between Copenhagen and Banjul in Gambia from November 2024, which will be operated with the Airbus A321LR. SAS will fly from Copenhagen to Banjul in Gambia for 5 months, with convenient connections from Stockholm, Oslo and Helsinki. The Airbus A321LR is the same type of aircraft that SAS uses on several long-haul flights, for example to New York. The aircraft offers three cabins: Business, Plus and Go.
