As demand for both business and leisure travel increases, SAS continues to resume routes, according to a press release. SAS will offer just over 160 direct routes to 90 destinations in the fall of 2021, the company writes. SAS is increasing the number of flights between the Scandinavian capitals and other destinations in the network and will now fly to all domestic destinations in Norway and Sweden when the Arlanda-Sundsvall route resumes in September.

The number of flights will also increase to several destinations considered important for business travelers within Europe.

”"The increasing interest in city and weekend trips to European cities means that SAS is resuming routes to Amsterdam, Dublin, Florence, Krakow and Prague. SAS is also offering more departures to warmer Mediterranean destinations in Southern Europe and the Canary Islands in order to meet the increasing demand for holiday travel," the airline writes. 

SAS will also to fly more direct routes from the Scandinavian capitals to a number of destinations in the US from September and continue to fly to Asia with direct flights from Copenhagen to Tokyo and Shanghai.
