Norwegian and Norwegian Pilot Union, which organizes the pilots in Norway, has agreed on a collective agreement for 2022–2023 according to a press release. 

”"The agreement secures Norwegian jobs, while giving Norwegian the flexibility to handle the demanding winter season," the company announced.

Union leader Alf Hansen, leader of the Norwegian Pilot Union and himself a pilot at Norwegian, comments in the press release:

”"The main priority has been to secure Norwegian jobs and I am very pleased that we have achieved that with this agreement. In addition, we will have greater predictability and better opportunities to plan the pilots' working days and free time. We have had conversations that have been demanding, but at the same time good and constructive," he says.

SAS's pilot union announced a strike on Thursday afternoon, which pushed the stock down 6 percent just before closing, compared to down just over 2 percent before the strike notice.
