Now SJ's passengers can ask questions to a new voice service through Google Assistant and get quick information about their trips.
SJ's pilot service is intended to be an aid in the commuter's everyday life, providing quick and easy traffic information for trains. It is also possible to just chat with SJ and ask questions to learn new things about trains.
SJ Voice Control is being launched in conjunction with the launch of the Swedish Google Assistant, which is now gradually starting to roll out and become available for Android and iOS devices in Sweden. SJ's voice service is now initially a first test of what we can offer in the future for services via voice control with artificial intelligence. The service is easily activated in the Google Assistant by the user saying "talk to SJ".
– We want to be where the customer is and believe that voice control is the channel of the future for dialogue with our customers and in the future also a channel for purchasing their travel. It feels great that SJ is involved when Google Assistant is launched in Swedish, says Ida Svensson, Head of Digital Innovation at SJ's Channel Development Department.
