On Wednesday, SJ will release train tickets for the period April 9 to June 3. A third of the departures will not be able to be booked.
– This is due to a shortage of vehicles that we have after the harsh winter that was, says Marcus Fleetwood, press communicator at SJ.
The reason why the non-selectable departures will still be visible on the website is because the times will be released for booking as SJ gets to grips with vehicle maintenance.
– It also depends on the Swedish Transport Administration's plan. In our train schedule we have applied for times to run the vehicles and we are also waiting for certain details regarding the Swedish Transport Administration's track work before we can release it for booking, says Marcus Fleetwood.
Departures on the route between Stockholm and Gothenburg will be increased during the spring.
