Overnight into Wednesday, SJ will release tickets for spring train journeys, writes TT.
However, Trafikverket (The Swedish Transport Administration) has not yet finished its planning of the track work – this is causing delays in ticket releases for Easter and Ascension Day.
Last Christmas's travel bookings were released in November, but many customers were unable to access the site due to high demand.
"We now have a queuing system that only allows a certain number of customers to access the site. You get a queue number that you keep until the purchase is made. We know that the load is always highest around the Christmas travel period, and it will be lower now," says SJ's press officer Tobbe Lundell.
