Skånes Djurpark took home the award "Experience of the Year" in Skåne and was honored today at a ceremony at the Amiralen in Malmö. With the new visit and event award Hylla Skåne, Visit Skåne wants to highlight events and experiences in Sweden's southernmost province, and it is the public who both nominated and voted for Skånes Djurpark as the winner.

We constantly strive to develop and offer adventurous experiences of Skåne's animals and nature for the whole family. The fact that we take home the award is proof that what we do is appreciated, says Skånes Djurpark's CEO Glenn André Viste Bøe. 

”"Experience of the Year" is given to a tourism industry player who has innovatively developed a visitor experience that creates an impression and contributes to the place flourishing and attracting international and national visitors to Skåne. 

The motivation for the nomination of Skånes Djurpark is as follows:

The other nominees in the category were Nyrups Naturhotell, Disgusting Food Museum and Botildenborg.
