Skanska takes airport order – to renovate in the US

Construction company Skanska has signed an agreement with the Massachusetts Airport Authority to renovate an airport in Boston in the USA – an order worth 67 million dollars, equivalent to 631 million kronor. This is according to a press release. 

The agreement includes the construction of a new canopy over Terminal C at Logan International Airport in Boston, as well as a number of renovations. The order value of SEK 631 million is included in the US order intake for the second quarter of 2019.

A first part of the contract, worth the equivalent of SEK 141 million, was included in the order intake for the first quarter.

The project will begin in November 2019 and is planned to open to traffic in September 2021.
