Several of the players in Sweden's current World Cup men's national team and players from the women's, U23 and U21 national teams have written tributes to their mothers, tributes that now adorn the outside of one of SJ's trains.
Right now, a blue and yellow national team-themed SJ train is whizzing through Sweden. The train is full of greetings where football players in the Swedish national team pay tribute to their mothers. In the long run, this is a tribute to all the enthusiasts and football parents who, with commitment and joy, ensure that Sweden, both today and in the future, is a football nation to be reckoned with.
– SJ has collaborated with the Swedish Football Association for many years and has happily followed the men's national team's journey to the World Cup in Russia. But we also want to focus on everyone who stands behind the team – regardless of whether it is the boys' team, the youth team or the national team – and who are invaluable to Swedish football, says Mattias Tappert, responsible for commercial partnerships at SJ.
