The state-owned train company SJ reports an operating profit of SEK 132 million for the second quarter of the year. This compares with SEK 582 million in the corresponding quarter a year earlier.

Turnover falls to SEK 2.65 billion, down from SEK 2.77 billion.

CEO Monica Lingegård writes in a comment that SJ aims to increase the number of employees by at least 1,000 people in the coming years.
