On Friday, October 13th, Halloween opens at Gröna Lund, where for 16 days we fill the fairground with pumpkins, Halloween creatures, attractions, horror parades and haunted houses.

This year, a brand new, world-unique Halloween experience, ”Obscura,” is being introduced, where visitors are locked in total darkness. Here, the boundaries between what is real and what is the locked-in person’s own worst nightmares quickly disappear.

On Friday the 13th at 4:00 p.m., Gröna Lund will open its gates to its sixth Halloween celebration. The entire park has been decorated in Halloween garb and for 16 days, visitors will be treated to a maximum Halloween atmosphere with a variety of Halloween creatures, attractions, horror parades and haunted houses. As in previous years, there will be a spooky atmosphere in our Small Area, which is adapted to younger children, while the Large Area has a darker focus. Here you will find, among other things, the first news of the year Obscura, a terrifying experience where visitors are locked in total darkness and where the boundaries between nightmare and reality are blurred. The second novelty of the year, The Witch's Magic Path, is suitable for our younger visitors and is filled with surprises, pumpkins with poor dental hygiene, shadows and sparkling lights.

According to the press release.
