Transavia France is expanding at Stockholm Arlanda Airport by launching a new direct route to Marseille. The new route further establishes the French low-cost carrier at Stockholm Arlanda and meets the increased demand for travel to the French Riviera. The new route will operate twice a week, starting on June 6.

Ahead of the 2024 summer program, Transavia France is expanding its Stockholm Arlanda Airport service by operating a new direct route to France’s second largest city, Marseille. Known for its stunning beaches, rich history and vibrant culture, Marseille is one of the most dynamic cities in France. Marseille’s location on the French Riviera not only makes the city a popular destination for people looking to experience the warm climate and sandy beaches, but the city is also an important center for trade in the region and the main commercial port in France.

– There is great confidence in the Swedish air travel market and Transavia France's investment in another direct route from Stockholm Arlanda Airport is a clear sign of this. France is always a popular destination and Transavia plays a significant role in linking Sweden closer to the important markets in the southern parts, says Charlotte Ljunggren, Director of Marketing and Sales at Swedavia. Starting on June 6, Transavia France will operate the Stockholm Arlanda Airport – Marseille route twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays.
