TUI is expanding its charter program from Norrköping Airport and launching a new direct route to Tenerife ahead of the 2027 sports holidays. The new charter departure gives travelers in Östergötland the opportunity to fly directly to the Canary Islands on February 21, 2027.
The flight will be operated by TUI fly Nordic and complements TUI's existing winter program from Norrköping, where Gran Canaria will continue to be served with weekly departures between October 24, 2026 and March 27, 2027.
“The Canary Islands are one of our most popular destinations during the winter, with their pleasant climate and highly regarded food culture. We know that many travelers appreciate being able to fly to the sun from their regional airport,” says Tommy Serban, Commercial Director at TUI in the Nordics.
At Norrköping Airport, the initiative is welcomed, not least because Tenerife has previously been a popular destination from the airport.
– It feels very fun to be in Tenerife again and that our great collaboration with TUI is expanding. A perfect opportunity to book now and look forward to some sun and warmth in February, says Jesper Low, CEO of Norrköping Airport.
Hotels for families and adults

For adult travelers, there is TUI BLUE Los Gigantes by the famous cliffs of Los Gigantes, while families can choose BLUE STAR HD Parque Cristobal Tenerife in Playa de las Americas. The hotel offers spacious bungalows, several pools and the opportunity for the youngest guests to meet Bamse on selected days.
