Turkish low-cost airline Sunexpress is purchasing ten more Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft. The order is said to be worth $1.2 billion, equivalent to approximately SEK 12 billion. Sunexpress has previously placed an order for 32 737 Max 8 aircraft.

It is Boeing's second order for the aircraft model since the fatal crash in Ethiopia in March that led to the plane being grounded. In June, IAG, which owns British Airways, signed a letter of intent to buy 200 Boeing 737 Max planes.

The latest assessment from Boeing is that the 737 Max plane will be able to fly in commercial traffic in January 2020.
