The High Coast remains one of the destinations that Viking Line's cruise ship Viking Cinderella will call at in 2023. For the High Coast, there will be an extra call compared to this year, so a total of nine times Cinderella will be seen in the port of Härnösand during May/June and September 2023.
– This means a lot to our companies who get the opportunity to show off a taste of the High Coast to the many travelers who choose to take a bus excursion when they are in port, says Anna Hellgren, operations manager for High Coast Tourism AB.
The first cruise in 2023 will be during Easter and Härnösand on the High Coast is the first destination along with Visby, Bornholm and Ystad.
– In recent years, long-distance cruises in the local region have been very popular and have offered great sights, not least thanks to good cooperation with the destinations. That is why we are continuing to build on our catalogue of Baltic Sea pearls with great added value. Next summer will see the premiere of the all-art work Mannaminne in Nordingrå, Höga Kusten, says Kenneth Gustavsson, Marketing Director Viking Line Scandinavia.
For the first time, bus transfers are included for all cruise passengers, making it even easier to get around Härnösand and even up Vårdkasberget. Those who prefer to discover their destination from the saddle can bring their bike on board at no extra cost.
For the High Coast, the cruises involve a day visit to Härnösand or to one of five destinations offered by bus in the surrounding area.
– We meet many satisfied visitors in the harbor and many choose to return later during the vacation and stay longer with us, or tell friends and family about their experience, says Maria Lundkvist, Operations Manager for Höga Kusten Turistservice.
