Through more than 8,100 published articles in over 40 countries on all continents, just over 8 million engaged visitors and followers on websites and social media, and nearly 100,000 subscribers to the company's newsletter, the reach of Visit Sweden's marketing was a record 2.7 billion people in 2023. Visit Sweden is now ranked as the world's 13th best marketing company.

– With the resources we have at our disposal, our 51 employees at Visit Sweden do a fantastic job every day in increasing interest in Sweden as a travel destination, which has never been greater than now, says Visit Sweden's proud CEO Susanne Andersson.

– An important part of success depends on data-driven and digital working methods and cross-functional teams with effective structures where we transform strategies into action that creates engagement, says Susanne.

The state-owned marketing company Visit Sweden does not count records in revenue or sales – but in interest in the travel destination Sweden and reach, how many people have taken advantage of the marketing.

Visit Sweden's mission is simply to create international interest in the tourist country of Sweden through image marketing among the target group that has the greatest potential to travel here. In strong competition with other nations and destinations.

According to the press release.
