The focus is on reducing climate impact, training staff and management in sustainability, and not least engaging travelers.

The new initiative is based on a training course that was conducted by all CEOs in the Unlimited Travel Group last year. Världens Resor's own sustainability journey includes training of staff and management on how business operations affect nature and climate and how climate impact can be reduced. The focus is also on contributing to the discussion around sustainable travel, increasing transparency in the business and clarifying the message to the outside world.

Världens Resor is also the first in the travel industry to use quality-labeled projects to offset climate change for all of its travelers' flights to and from Sweden. This is done with the help of South Pole, the world's largest developer of climate projects.

– As a tour operator, we have from the beginning worked with the greatest care for our destinations, but are now making a change and investing in sustainable travel by examining and improving our entire operation to reduce the impact on the environment and climate. We are not the largest, but then it is all the more important to be proactive and show great responsibility for our destinations. We are extremely proud that we are the first Swedish tour operator to climate compensate all of our travelers' long-haul flights, and we hope that other companies will follow suit and, not least, that our travelers appreciate this, says Lottie Sundelöf, CEO of Världens Resor.
