British Airways owner IAG's shares are down around 1.5 percent on the London Stock Exchange after IAG reported for the fourth quarter of 2025.
Revenues amounted to 8.0 billion euros in the quarter. Revenues of 8.1 billion euros were expected, according to an analyst average forecast compiled by S&P Global Market Intelligence.
Operating profit came in at 1.1 billion euros, which was exactly what analysts had expected.
For 2026, IAG expects to achieve "high-margin revenue and profit growth and high return on capital," the interim report states.
The key North Atlantic route, where IAG has a market share of around 50 percent, saw somewhat weak demand last year due to stricter US immigration policies and heightened geopolitical tensions, which weighed on the company's results. However, IAG expects the route's demand to grow by low single digits in the medium term, Bloomberg News reports.
