British Airways has appointed Patrice Gordon as its new Director of Global Sales. She will take up the role in September 2026 and will be responsible for the airline’s global sales, distribution and customer service teams, with the mission of strengthening revenue and commercial development in the company’s international markets.
Patrice Gordon began her career in finance at PwC and British Airways before moving on to senior commercial roles at Royal Mail and Virgin Atlantic. Most recently, she was Director of Commercial Strategy Development at Virgin Atlantic, where she was responsible for the airline’s transatlantic joint venture with Delta Air Lines, Air France and KLM. She now returns to British Airways from the management consultancy, Eminere, which she founded.
The appointment comes as British Airways continues its extensive transformation programme, investing across the entire customer journey. Gordon will lead an established sales organisation where the airline’s Sales Account Management team recently achieved an average customer rating of 4.62 out of 5 in a satisfaction survey.
“I am delighted to be returning to British Airways at such an exciting time for the airline. British Airways has ambitious plans for the future and I look forward to working with colleagues and partners around the world to continue to develop the business and deliver value for our customers,” said Patrice Gordon.
She will also become a member of the British Airways Commercial Leadership Team and will report to the company's Chief Commercial Officer, Colm Lacy.
