Chatarina Eriksson took up her role as CEO of Visit Dalarna in the autumn of 2022. Together with the organization, she has had the task of giving the tourism industry in Dalarna the best conditions to grow and do more, better and sustainable business. As well as marketing and strengthening the Dalarna brand in Europe.

– It has been a great journey to work with the organization to create the best conditions for companies to develop in one of Dalarna's basic industries, the tourism industry, and to work with a strong brand like Dalarna. The tourism industry is an industry that is in constant motion, based on travel trends and an environment that is constantly changing. We at Visit Dalarna are also an organization in constant motion and have undergone a change in recent years, both structurally and in terms of work. I entered this role with the ambition to take the company into a new phase to face the future, and I have done that during these years. It is therefore an appropriate time to hand over to someone new after the summer who will take over and continue the work, says Chatarina Eriksson.

– We thank Chatarina Eriksson for her commitment and strong efforts for Visit Dalarna and the tourism industry in Dalarna. Under her leadership, the company has taken important steps forward and created the conditions to continue building success. We wish her all the best in the future with new challenges and assignments. Chatarina will remain working until after the summer, says Karin Ringsby, Chairwoman of Visit Dalarna.

According to the press release.
