STF's mountain station on Kebnekaise has been hit by a stomach illness outbreak and is now being forced to close down urgently. 

According to the mountain station, the situation escalated with even more cases on Saturday. 

”"We are seeing guests getting sick at a faster rate, which makes it increasingly difficult for us to isolate guests, sanitize spaces at the required rate, and allocate separate restrooms for those who are sick. We understand that this creates concern and frustration, but we need to take the responsibility that the situation requires and ensure the best interests of our guests and staff," they write in the post. 

The station will close starting today, Sunday, and will remain closed until Thursday next week.
