It looks like it will be a brilliant tourist season for Varberg this year, according to early reports from both trade and accommodation.
The trend shows that people are increasingly choosing to vacation in Sweden. The new Kattegattleden is one of the attractions in Varberg municipality that has attracted tourists this year.
– There have been a lot of cycling tourists and camping guests. Many also come more spontaneously, without having booked in advance, says Magnus Thomson, destination developer at Varberg Municipality.
