The prosecutor is seeking corporate fines totaling 18 million kronor for Gröna Lund and two other companies after the Jetline accident in 2023, writes TT.

One woman died in the accident and nine people were injured.

At 10:00 a.m., the police and prosecutors will hold a press conference about the fatal accident at Gröna Lund.

The prosecutor is filing a lawsuit against three companies for crimes of gross negligence causing death, gross negligence causing bodily harm, and causing danger to others.

Gröna Lund leaves a comment to TT:

”"We do not believe that any crime has been committed within the framework of Gröna Lund's operations and therefore we deny the allegations. But we take the incident very seriously," the park writes in a written comment.

”"An accident like the one in Jetline must not happen and it should not be possible. Therefore, since the incident, we have reviewed our operations and taken several measures to ensure that something like this can never happen again."”
