Residents of the Netherlands will be offered free sunscreen this summer in an effort to reduce the country's record number of skin cancer cases, The Guardian reports.
Sunscreen containers will be available at schools, universities, festivals, parks and other public places across the country.
According to the newspaper, it was a dermatologist who came up with the idea after being inspired by hand sanitizer containers during the pandemic.
