Lumiwings has decided to discontinue the flight route to Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Stockholm Skavsta Airport was one of five selected airports in a major tender process initiated by Tuzla International Airport. The demand for the route to Tuzla has not met the expectations and requirements set out in the tender and will therefore be discontinued. All tender routes/destinations to Tuzla International Airport are affected by this announcement.
The flight route to Tuzla opened in December 2023 and operated twice a week.
"It is both sad and regrettable that they are closing down after such a short time. But we will continue the dialogue with Lumiwings in the hope that other destinations may be considered," says Jesper Fredmark, CEO of Stockholm Skavsta Airport.
