From the Netherlands via Botswana, the forests of Småland, Stockholm and now to the West Coast in Gothenburg. In September, Marijn Letschert-Levin will take up his position as the new hotel director at the completely renovated and expanded Comfort Hotel Panorama.
Comfort Hotel Panorama has undergone several changes recently. In June 2025, the extensive renovation was completed, which has expanded the hotel with 174 rooms, a larger lobby, coworking and a gym. As part of the transformation journey, the hotel also underwent a rebranding from Quality Hotel, to even better suit the hotel guest's need for an affordable, sustainable hotel a stone's throw from Liseberg, the Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre and Avenyn. Now the hotel continues its journey forward and welcomes Marijn Letschert-Levin to lead the business into the next chapter.
Marijn most recently came from the role of hotel director and co-owner at TEN Hotel, where she was very successfully responsible for the hotel's overall operations and led a team of over 30 employees.
– I am really looking forward to taking over a newly renovated and rebranded Comfort Hotel Panorama and continuing to develop the hotel together with the team. I am passionate about creating workplaces where people grow, and where sustainability and guest experience go hand in hand, says Marijn Letschert-Levin.
Marijn holds a Bachelor in Business Administration, Hospitality Management from Hotelschool The Hague, Netherlands and has over ten years of experience in the hospitality industry, both in Sweden and Botswana. She has a strong background in leadership, guest experience and business development, with a particular focus on sustainability and digitalization – areas that are fully aligned with Comfort Hotels’ values and vision for the future.
-We are incredibly happy to welcome Marijn Letschert-Levin as the new Hotel Director of Comfort Hotel Panorama. Her solid experience in leading and developing hotels, together with her strong focus on team development and sustainability, makes her a perfect match for us. With Marijn at the helm, we look forward to taking Comfort Hotel Panorama to the next level and further strengthening our position as the value-for-money hotel in Gothenburg, says Pernilla Bergendahl, Director of Operations at Comfort Hotel Sweden.
Marijn will start her position at Comfort Hotel Panorama on September 1st and succeeds Samantha Bellamy, who will move on to the role of Hotel Director at Comfort Hotel Malmö.
