Swedavia's board of directors has appointed Mats Johannesson as the new CEO of Swedavia. Mats is thus leaving his role as CEO of the care company Team Olivia.
Mats Johannesson holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and was previously CEO of the public transport company MTR Express. He has also held several management roles within logistics and transport.

He has broad experience in leading large organizations and operations with a focus on results, quality, and not least communication, says Ulrika Francke, Chairwoman of the Board of Swedavia.

Mats Johannesson will take up his position as President and CEO no later than the beginning of May 2026. Jonas Abrahamsson will remain as CEO no later than the end of February 2026.
